The Chairman of the House of Commons Select Committee on the Department for Communities Clive Betts MP, has written to the Secretary of State criticising his decision to launch the consultation process just before Christmas. The deadline given by the Government for responses is Monday 25 January 2016.
It is difficult to be surprised that the Committee share the annoyance of many other interest groups who will find it really difficult to put together a response over the festive season.
